Two major incidents were taking place off the coast of Azerbaijan, Caspian sea.
The first incident was the collapse of the Rocks Oil Platform accommodation module in the morning (05/12/2015).
3 people are still reported missing, it presumed that platform was hit by strong winds and waves of more than 8 meter.
The platform is owned by the state oil company of Azerbaijan
The second serious incident occurred on another platform that is approximately 30 km away and is still in Construction.
It is rumored that the entire platform is now on fire and evacuation hampered because of bad weather conditions.
Workers on the adjacent platform have been notified about both incidents.
According to information from the field, the fire was caused by damage to the gas riser
Platform evacuated using a small boat with a capacity of 10 people.
Latest information from the field, there are 62 people onboard and have so far confirmed 32 people had been rescued.
The strong wind prevented the lifeboat away from the platform to evacuate.
2 fire boat has been deployed to cope with the incident, submarine is also seen involved in the rescue operation. The incident has been ongoing since 18:00 local time (12/04/2015)
There are 6 Platform owned by BP company that is close to the location, but so far is unaffected.
